On June 5, the State Tourism Agency of Azerbaijan organized a destination presentation event for members of the diplomatic corps accredited in Azerbaijan.

The event aimed to enhance awareness of Azerbaijan’s tourism potential and was attended by representatives from over 60 diplomatic missions and international organizations, including ambassadors, attachés, and secretaries.

Speaking at the event, Kenan Gasimov, Head of Staff of the State Tourism Agency, emphasized the significance of sharing Azerbaijan’s tourism experiences and ongoing initiatives with the diplomatic community.

During the presentation, promotional videos showcasing Azerbaijan’s diverse tourism offerings were screened, followed by a detailed presentation by Javanshir Bayramov, Deputy Chairman of the Azerbaijan Tourism Board.

Participants were provided with insights into Azerbaijan’s tourism strategy, including core principles and priorities, inbound tourism statistics, planned events in target markets for the year, media and marketing activities, key tourism routes, services and products, and initiatives aimed at the development of the tourism industry.
